What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maintain project filing system for design team and review project weekly reports
- Prepare project data for schedules and budgets to monitor progress
- Log and manage project submittals, RFI's, and correspondence
- Draft and track contract change orders, material inspection, certification, and additional documentation
- Communicate effectively with project team, client organization, designers, and contractors on capital cost matters
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of related work experience
- Knowledge of engineering principles, industry standards, and construction drawings interpretation
- Experience with public agency document control systems, IDOT Documentation Certificate required
- Additional Certifications such as CCM, PMP, CQM, or similar preferred
