What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and draft complex retirement documents in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Provide analysis and guidance on retirement document interpretation and design questions
- Communicate effectively with plan sponsors, consultants, and regulators to maintain relationships
- Offer technical assistance for complex document production and plan review inquiries
- Mentor and train new hires within the Retirement and Income Solutions Document Services team
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of related experience
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Experience researching and interpreting laws and regulations affecting retirement documents
- In-depth knowledge of document provisions and design
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in financial services or a related field
- Familiarity with compliance issues related to retirement plans
- Proven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with various stakeholders
- Experience mentoring or training team members
- Knowledge of investment codes of ethics and personal trading activities
