What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor patient cases from start to finish, ensuring all steps are completed
- Input patient information accurately and review benefits summaries
- Coordinate benefits with patients, pharmacies, providers, and payors
- Assist with appeal management for claim denials
- Communicate effectively with various stakeholders to resolve issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in medical insurance, medical claims, or medical billing
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication abilities
- High-speed internet connection and capacity to work from home
- Must be available for equipment pickup in Irving, TX
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a customer service role within the healthcare industry
- Familiarity with medical terminology and claims processes
- Proficiency in using medical billing software or systems
