      Position Summary:

      The Warehouse Clerk will be responsible for managing the day-to-day functions of the DOT warehouse.

      Responsibilities:

      • Adhere to operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials
      • Learn inventory program to help keep an accurate inventory count
      • Check tools, trailers, and other equipment in and out of the tool room
      • Load and unload equipment as needed
      • Help maintain a neat and orderly warehouse
      • Order supplies for field workers and help maintain the stock room
      • Deliver packages to project managers and administrative assistants
      • Work with other warehouse employees to ensure that the work is completed in an efficient manner
      • Perform regular upkeep duties, including but not limited to mowing lawn, to ensure the aesthetic appeal and safety of the property.
      • Other duties as assigned

      Requirements:

      • Valid Class A CDL or permit and current valid DOT physical preferred.
      • Basic computer skills required
      • Forklift experience preferred
      • Must be able to listen attentively and communicate effectively with others.
      • Must keep work area neat, clean and free from debris or safety hazards.
      • Maintain a courteous and responsive approach with co-workers, vendors and drivers.

      • Work is primarily performed indoors in a warehouse facility but can include frequent work outdoors in all/extreme weather conditions.
      • This position requires physical activity including extended periods of standing and walking, frequent sitting, kneeling, bending, crouching, reaching, stooping and climbing. Requires the ability to frequently lift and/or carry materials and/or supplies and other materials weighing up to 50lbs. Occasional lifting and/or carrying of materials and/or supplies weighing up to 100lbs.
