What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Obtain medical history and vital signs from donors and patients
- Perform phlebotomy and collection procedures to gather blood or blood components
- Display excellent customer service and professionalism towards all customers
- Assist with the recruitment of potential apheresis and bone marrow donors
- Maintain compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, understand, and follow safety rules and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in customer service or healthcare-related roles
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Previous experience in phlebotomy or blood donation services
