What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct interviews to determine eligibility for public assistance programs
- Process applications for financial, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, and Medicaid Assistance
- Gather and review data and verification for benefit programs based on individual circumstances
- Explain program requirements and answer client questions regarding benefits and services
- Utilize internal software to manage case actions in compliance with federal and state regulations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Four years of customer service experience involving public contact or financial eligibility determination, or one year of equivalent out-of-state experience
- Ability to communicate effectively in diverse situations, including challenging conversations
- Strong analytical skills to navigate complex regulations and procedures
- Proficiency in utilizing various computer programs
- Capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Familiarity with social service programs and customer service best practices
- Bilingual skills to assist diverse populations
