- Manage product assortment, ensuring compelling and accurate listings on each DTC website.
- Develop and execute merchandising strategies to drive conversion, increase average order value and enhance customer retention.
- Ensure high-quality product imagery, descriptions and content are optimized for engagement and searchability.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teammates to launch new SKUs, seasonal collections and exclusive online offerings.
- Analyze product performance data to inform merchandising decisions.
- Leverage A/B testing to refine product placement, pricing and promotional strategies.
- Work closely with marketing teammates to optimize product visibility through SEO, paid media and email marketing.
- Develop and implement product recommendations, cross-sell and up-sell strategies using rule-based software to maximize revenue.
- Enhance site navigation, taxonomy and product discoverability to create a seamless shopping experience.
- Implement dynamic, data-driven merchandising to improve engagement and conversion.
- Identify, troubleshoot and resolve any friction points in the online purchasing process.
- Work closely with order management teammates to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize out-of-stock occurrences.
- Partner with sales and marketing teams on promotions, content and campaign execution.
- Collaborate with customer care teams to address common pain points and improve the shopping experience.
- Develop reports to monitor merchandising performance and identify opportunities for growth.
- Provide actionable insights on consumer trends, competitor websites, product performance and areas for conversion optimization.
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership and relevant cross-functional teams.
- 2-4 years of experience in e-commerce merchandising or similar role.
- Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in e-commerce platforms, experience with Shopify and headless environments preferred.
- Experience with e-commerce merchandising and analytics tools (Algolia, Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, etc.).
- Strong understanding of site merchandising, UX/UI best practices, and CRO (conversion rate optimization).
- Strong excel and data management skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in web technologies, including content management systems and basic HTML.
- Knowledge of and experience with various internet marketing disciplines, including search engine optimization, search and display advertising, email marketing, user experience best practices, A/B testing and analytics.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent analytical, project management, and organizational skills.
- Self-directing with a strong work ethic and high standards for quality and efficiency.
- Flexible with changing priorities based on stakeholder and customer feedback.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external team members, including remote and global teammates.
- The ability and willingness to communicate, share knowledge and collaborate across departments.
- Strong desire and ability to continually learn and maintain a high level of expertise in a field that is constantly changing and evolving.

Summary of Position:
The DTC E-Commerce Merchandising Specialist is the key product expert responsible for ensuring the right products are presented in the right place, at the right time, to maximize sales and enhance the customer shopping experience. This role focuses on optimizing product placement, category organization, and recommendation strategies to drive conversion and increase average order value across the portfolio of our global DTC websites. The ideal candidate is highly analytical and detail-oriented, leveraging data-driven insights to refine merchandising strategies, improve product discoverability, and enhance the overall digital shopping journey. Through thoughtful curation, A/B testing and cross-functional collaboration, this role ensures that customers can easily find, evaluate and purchase products that meet their needs.
