What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Deliver instruction to students in Spanish, using various teaching methods to enhance language skills and core curriculum objectives
- Lead small groups during literacy rotations and collaborate with lead teachers to implement appropriate instructional techniques
- Create lesson plans and instruct students individually and in groups
- Maintain classroom order and prepare materials for class activities
- Promote cross-cultural activities and act as a Spanish-speaking role model for students
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Native (or near-native) Spanish speaker with intermediate to high English proficiency
- Post-secondary degree in an education-related field
- At least one year of elementary teaching experience
- Authorized to work in the U.S. and must complete designated HR processes
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between schools
