What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as an intake specialist, ensuring proper tracking of new cases in the system
- Conduct interviews and preliminary investigations to evaluate incoming complaints
- Prepare clear and detailed departmental reports documenting all aspects of complaints
- Provide support to other employees and perform various administrative tasks
- Interact with walk-in complainants, delivering timely and courteous service
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must have knowledge of Arizona criminal and civil statutes and the responsibilities of various government organizations
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with diverse individuals
- Ability to collect, preserve, and evaluate information related to complaints
- Must obtain Terminal Operator Certification (TOC) within six months of employment
- A valid Arizona Driver's License is required for travel associated with the position
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous law enforcement experience and knowledge of the criminal justice system
- Experience as an AZPOST certified officer in Arizona or another state
- Strong computer proficiency and organizational skills
