The Partnership has adopted a hybrid working approach meaning you'll be able to work a mixture between the office and home based upon your personal needs whilst balancing the needs of the business. The E-commerce Growth team aims for around 2 days a week in the office to connect, usually a Wednesday & Thursday. The role is based at our London Central Offices in Pimlico.
The salary range for this role is set at £53,000 - £85,000

Shares expert and insightful analysis of Category performance data to drive E-Commerce trading actions
Aggregates end-to-end site customer behaviour analysis across funnel steps, campaigns, traffic type & content to maximise channel performance and inform customer journey improvements.
Constantly reviews external market benchmarks to share recommendations and inform
Category assortment development and site customer journey development
Influences and informs Category teams around assortment range, price & availability using site performance data to highlight risks/opps.
Oversees and validates high-quality trading insight, commentary and site metric forecasting
Develops a highly commercial and analytical team with a high-performance culture that brings customer and commercial data together to make better trading decisions and delivers continuous E-Commerce optimisation improvements
Prioritisation and approval of analysis workflow
Prioritisation of risk/opp mitigation actions
Building and owning the E-Commerce Category growth plan
E-Commerce experience - understands how to influence conversion, traffic and AOV through multiple digital and trading functions.
Highly numerate and strong data-analysis orientation. Comfortable with interpreting complex data from multiple sources to provide clear recommendations, including converting into insight, action, sizing and prioritisation.
Strong influencing skills such as influencing B&M around availability, price, and detailed understanding of conversion funnel dynamics
Strong and highly collaborative team player able to work in matrix management both with E-Commerce (influencing operations, site effectiveness, product) as well as broader functions
Ability to manage and influence range of stakeholders - for directorate leadership teams, digital marketing, category marketing, retail media
Strong commercial acumen
Proven experience in People Management
ABOUT THE ROLE
Would you like to drive E-Commerce growth at John Lewis? We are recruiting an E-commerce Category Growth Manager for our Technology team.
We’re looking for an experienced commercial and customer-focused individual with knowledge of operating in an E-Commerce trading environment with experience of people management and influencing internal stakeholders.
In this role, you will lead and develop your E-Commerce trading team, setting the strategic direction and outlining what your category needs to grow, influencing stakeholders to deliver commercial targets and working with teams in Commercial, Customer, Content & Operations and Optimisation & Product to deliver these actions.
As the E-Commerce Category Growth Manager, you will be responsible for forecasting, articulating risks and opportunities to trading performance looking forward, and analysis and recommendations from reviewing previous trading performance to maximise opportunities and minimise risks..
