What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor multiple e-referral systems to identify new referrals and manage alerts and notifications
- Perform timely follow-up and manage all related communication on referrals
- Determine patient eligibility for services by reviewing documentation
- Communicate with various teams for status updates and referral decisions
- Maintain and update referral logs and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or its equivalent; Associate's degree preferred
- Demonstrated ability to type 40 wpm
- Minimum 1 year of customer service or healthcare-related experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in patient referral and insurance verification
- Knowledge of home health services and Medicare guidelines
- Experience working in a home health environment
- Good logical thinking and decision-making skills
- Strong adaptability to change
