What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide individualized developmental services to young children with special healthcare needs
- Support the academic mission of the Kids First program
- Ensure quality and professionalism in the delivery of services
- Administer standardized developmental testing instruments
- Build relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus at least one certification related to early childhood development
- Minimum of six months documented experience working with children, particularly those with special needs
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of developmental milestones for children aged birth to five
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Additional coursework in early childhood education, child development, or special education
- Experience with standardized developmental testing instruments
- Familiarity with the needs of children with special healthcare needs
