What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop high-quality Adult Discipleship Resources within production schedule and budgetary constraints
- Collaborate with various teams to generate assignments, monitor progress, and approve payments for freelance contracts
- Content and theo edit submissions to ensure biblical accuracy and acceptability to users
- Fit copy according to the high standards of each product line
- Collect, examine, and evaluate previous-cycle products for needed changes and implement required changes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master of Divinity or equivalent theological education required
- Five or more years of experience in editing adult-level discipleship resources or curriculum
- Proficient in editing in Word, Adobe Acrobat PDFs, and InDesign
- Familiarity with the Chicago Manual of Style preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in English or Journalism
- Christian ministry experience
- Experience with Mac computers and Adobe InDesign
