What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in the development and/or delivery of instruction for the online graduate program
- Creatively plan interactive online activities, tutorials, and/or resources to encourage learning
- Help students familiarize themselves with course material, study skills, and university resources
- Create video tutorials in Canvas from the student view
- Model professional behavior and promote respectful communication
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Employment will require a criminal background check
- Ability to engage in professional practice grounded in theory and current research
- Commitment to inclusive practices that honor diverse perspectives and experiences
- Strong communication skills to promote respectful interactions
- Knowledge of documentation styles appropriate for a teaching institution
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with online education or instructional design
- Familiarity with distance learning technologies
- Background in education or related fields
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively with instructional staff and students
