What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze operational workflows and translate business requirements into Epic Hospital Billing (HB) and Claims system configurations
- Design and build billing rules, charge capture workflows, claims logic, and hospital billing account structures
- Provide advanced application support and troubleshoot billing errors, claim edits, and charge capture exceptions
- Conduct integrated testing for Epic upgrades, releases, and enhancement requests to ensure system integrity
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align system functionality with operational goals
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or an IT-related field and six years of progressive experience in business application consulting or development; or Associate degree with seven years of experience; or High School diploma with ten years of experience
- Proven experience in configuring Epic Hospital Billing (HB) and Claims applications
- Demonstrated ability to conduct integrated testing and validation of Epic system upgrades
- Advanced competency in troubleshooting billing errors and claim edits using Epic tools
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Finance and Compliance
