      Job Description

      ADM is seeking a highly motivated and experienced HSE Manager to join our team in Spain. Under the direction of the Plant Manager and Regional HSE Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for leading and implementing all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures and policies to ensure a safe and compliant work environment for employees, contractors, and visitors.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Lead the implementation of HSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
      • Maintain and enhance the Environmental Management System (ISO 14001).
      • Conduct internal EHS inspections and implement preventive and corrective measures.
      • Provide specialist advice, coaching, and practical support to colleagues to ensure a safe working environment.
      • Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes and develop preventive strategies.
      • Report significant issues or concerns to Plant Management and Regional HSE Management.
      • Prepare and submit mandatory legal reports required by public administrations.
      • Interact with relevant government authorities on HSE matters.
      • Conduct HSE training and communication sessions for employees.
      • Ensure compliance with contractor HSE documentation and procedures.
      • Support and ensure the implementation of ADM EHS policies on site.
      • Maintain and update all safety documentation and procedures.
      • Required Skills & Competencies:
      • Strong communication abilities and excellent interpersonal skills.
      • Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
      • Effective decision-making skills and attention to detail.
      • Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
      • A proactive and hard-working individual who demonstrates a strong work ethic.
      • Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
      • Integrity, respect, and flexibility in a professional setting.

      Qualifications & Experience:
      • Degree, diploma, or certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
      • Strong knowledge of OSHA management systems and Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001).
      • Minimum of 3 years of experience in safety and environmental-related positions.
      • Proficiency in English and Spanish (both written and spoken).
      • Experience with Sphera Cloud and GEMINI systems.
      • Interest in life sciences is an advantage.
