What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform daily and monthly energy checkouts using internal and external processes
- Track daily activities relating to generation and load entered into MISO and SPP energy markets
- Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual reports related to energy accounting and the wholesale electric market
- Retrieve and analyze data from external entities and complete balancing procedures daily
- Verify accuracy of invoices and manage metered power flow data
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must possess a four-year degree in business, economics, finance, accounting, or a related field
- Electric Market Settlement Analyst I: One year of experience in utility or energy marketing or related functions
- Electric Market Settlement Analyst II: Four years of experience in utility or energy marketing or related functions
- Must take necessary measures to protect networks and data from cyber threats
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, with no sponsorships considered
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of Locational Marginal Pricing energy market concepts
