Job Description
- Req#: JP-005650767
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in residential homes.
- Perform service upgrades, including panel replacements and capacity increases.
- Install and upgrade electrical systems, including outlets, switches, lighting, and smart home devices.
- Bend and install conduit (EMT, PVC, etc.) as needed for retrofit and service work.
- Ensure all work complies with NEC and local electrical codes.
- Communicate clearly with homeowners about issues, solutions, and costs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in occupied homes.
- Proven experience as a residential electrician, especially in service and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems and code compliance.
- Proficiency in conduit bending and retrofit installations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Experience with smart home systems, EV chargers, and energy-efficient upgrades.
- Familiarity with panel upgrades and whole-home rewiring.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus.
- Primarily residential service calls in occupied homes.
- Fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
- Occasional emergency or after-hours service may be required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mokena, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
