What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Mount and configure IoT devices on various elevator and escalator models
- Tap into controller wiring to monitor necessary data points
- Read and accurately interpret complex wiring diagrams for a variety of controller types
- Coordinate with institutional mechanics to safely access equipment locations
- Test and verify data transmission from sensors to the employer's platform
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong background in electrical systems with proficiency in reading wiring diagrams
- Previous experience working with elevators (traction/hydraulic) and escalators
- Ability to work across various brands and not specialize in just one
- Consistency and reliability for the night shift schedule (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Strong safety knowledge and technical vocabulary of the industry
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with major brands such as Otis, Kone, Schindler, and Thyssenkrupp
- Familiarity with industry safety regulations and standards
