Job Description

- Manage personnel and equipment involved with testing the company’s products.
- Manage test schedules of multiple projects simultaneously.
- Collaborate with EMC and design engineers to help troubleshoot test failures.
- Oversee Customer Testing Facility (CTF) program for EMC testing for CB Scheme.
- Maintaining test equipment and manage equipment calibrations.
- Developing new test protocols and maintain existing ones.
- Write formal test reports and work with CTF coordinators to create CB Scheme test reports.
- Communicate clearly both peer-to-peer, executive management, and CTF program coordinators.
- Mentor and train test staff on test methods and equipment.
- 5+ years of relevant industry knowledge.
- Knowledge of data analysis techniques, including basic statistical methods.
- Experience with EMC testing and lab management.
- Experience in the development of test procedures and writing test reports.
- Excellent verbal and written communications and analytical skills appropriate for interaction with all team members (engineers, technicians, & management).
- Experience performing common EMC laboratory calibration procedures, such as NSA, Uniform Field, and Measurement Uncertainty.
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant compliance standards and test methods, such as IEC 60601-1-2, the CISPR family of standards, the 61000-4 series of standards, etc.
- Knowledge of EMC test software such as TILE, EMC32, BAT-EMC.
- Highly-regulated industry experience: medical/military/aviation.
- Experience managing test technicians or engineers.
- Experience with the CB Scheme CTF program.
Job Summary
The EMC Lab Manager will manage the EMC lab and personnel. The EMC lab performs electromagnetic compliance testing on new and sustaining products. Testing includes regulatory compliance testing to medical device and consumer EMC standards for global markets.

Bachelor’s degree.
Compensation: The anticipated range for this position is $115,000 to $140,000. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities. Some local travel is necessary, so the ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid Driver’s license is required.
