  Role Overview:

  We are looking for a Procurement Manager who will ensure the perfect execution of the contact lenses and related CL care products (liquids and solutions) procurement activities in Europe.

  
  With a spend of around 500 MEUR and 20 vendors, the candidate will manage a team of 6 FTEs currently; with expansion planned in accordance with additional perimeters directly purchased in the coming years.

  Currently, the candidate will have direct control of the procurement activities related to the EssilorLuxottica EMEA Fulfilment Centers network (UK, Italy, Benelux, Spain) and will monitor the other procurement flows in cooperation with the EssilorLuxottica local business units (Direct to Stores, non-integrated DCs).

  This is a hybrid-working role with a requirement to attend our London office two days per week.

  Main responsibilities:

  · Build the supply plan of each warehouse (volumes, value) / Quarterly reforecast

  · Ensure that the purchase orders are executed according to the plan

  · Share procurement forecast with vendors / review accuracy

  · Share Inbound forecast with internal logistic / review accuracy

  · Management of the procurement team (planning, performance reviews)

  · Monitor vendors performance (Leadtime, OTIF) for controlled DCs and DTS flows with frequent calls to monitor joint activities

  · Manage exceptional procurement operations related to integration activities

  · Propose assortment optimization to the category team

  · Cooperate with sourcing (validate new vendors introductions, track vendors target, contract and flows optimizations)

  · Build the supply plan of each warehouse (volumes, value) / Quarterly reforecast

  Requirements:

  · Engineering or Business Bachelor’s degree

  · At least 3 years of experience in Procurement/Sourcing

  · Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multi-cultural / multi location teams

  · Solid experience with Microsoft Tools, SAP

  · Agility to work in a multi-national environment (Big 4 vendors are multi-national organizations, some based in Asia, some smaller distributors in Europe)

  · Fluent in English and at least one of the following languages: Italian or French (multilingual proficiency is a plus)

  · Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong sense of initiative and ownership

  · Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build relationships across diverse working teams and cultures

  The candidate will report to the EMEA Supply Chain Leader.
