- In a design/RFQ phase, align with the stakeholders to understand automation requirements and match them with available vendor offerings. Furthermore, challenge and review the proposals of the internal team and automation vendors- understand their offering and take end-responsibility on the final design proposal.
- Control and Weekly updates of the General Planning and Open Point List.
- During the Ramp Up phase, together with the project team: ensure that the concept design is translated in a viable implementable detailed design; manage the completion of all systems’ functional specifications and interface specifications; ensure automation projects are successfully implemented.
- Understand market trends and refine existing standards by conducting market research.
- Manage interfaces to all automation suppliers through understanding their design enhancements and new products
- Continously reflect on how to best design standard, flexible and scalable solution.
- Review project statuses and vendor performance to ensure our automation strategy is well implemented.
- On a daily basis, advise our engineering and operational teams to ensure mitigation of any risks linked to automation activities.
- Regulary consult the key stakeholders to review progress and ensure a focus on continuous improvement.

- You got a Degree in Engineering (MBA is a plus)
- You have at least 5 years of experience with automation projects for logistics
- You have a solid understanding of the project life cycle of automated material handling systems and equipment
- You have experience with the implementation of automated material handling and logistics systems (shuttles, conveyors, packaging/shipping machines, ...)
- You know how to collaborate and interact with various stakeholders at international level
- You have built a solid experience as Logistics Automation Engineer within complex organizations
- You are passionate about the technology trends to enable Logistics Automations processes and outcomes
- You have strong facilitation and communication skills, you are able to present information to all levels of the organization
- You are fluent in Italian and English
- You are available to move abroad if there's the chance!
- Willingness to relocate to Belluno

We are looking for an experienced EMEA Logistics Automation Project Manager to join our team of experts and support our European Automation Projects at the Logistics Hub in Sedico (BL). You will steer the team towards providing innovative and substantially automated warehousing solutions.
As EMEA Logistics Automation Project Manager you will play an integral role with the main focus on managing and improving our automation activities.
