What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate with Front Desk Coordinators to manage and respond to house call requests promptly
- Assist with patient care in clinic when not engaged in house calls, including triage and covering clinic duties
- Formulate differential diagnoses and treatment plans for urgent and emergent care in non-clinic settings
- Document clinical evaluations and treatments accurately in the electronic health record (AthenaHealth)
- Collaborate with the patient's primary care provider and specialists to coordinate follow-up care
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree required; Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner program
- Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner state license and ability to practice in California
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in emergency departments and/or urgent care centers
- DEA license required
- ACLS and PALS certification required upon hire

- Experience with concierge medical services or similar innovative healthcare delivery models
- Strong background in providing exceptional clinical care and patient satisfaction in emergency settings
- Familiarity with electronic health records, specifically AthenaHealth
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic clinical team environment
