      About the role

      Reporting to the Workplace Relations Lead, Supply, this role provides operational employee relations (ER) and case management support. Partnering with Supply people leaders and working closely with the P&C business partnering team to provide employee relations advice, assistance, and guidance on all types of workplace matters.

      • Manage employee grievances, disputes, and disciplinary matters following company policies and employment laws.
      • Provide advice and guidance to P&C Business Partners, people leaders and employees on employee relations issues.
      • Autonomously and efficiently manage multiple employee relations cases through to successful resolution, whilst making recommendations and mitigating risk to the business.
      • Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints, allegations of misconduct, harassment, or other workplace issues while collaborating with P&C Business Partners as required.
      • Create and continuously improve ER frameworks and policies that incorporate tools and templates for people leaders to support best practice approaches on employee relations matters and workplace investigations.
      • Lead and support with the delivery of various ER projects (such as workplace compliance, inclusion, equity & diversity (IE&D) and company culture initiatives), to drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across Supply.

      About you

      We are looking for a specialist in Employee Relations with knowledge of and experience managing employee misconduct, terminations, poor performance, health, harassment, bullying, unacceptable behaviour and other grievances, in addition to undertaking investigations.

      • Demonstrable experience in complex case management and in managing multiple ER/IR matters through to successful resolution.
      • Advanced understanding of employment, discrimination and equal opportunity laws, the relationship between policies, employment contracts, awards, and agreements.
      • Experience across a range of industry bodies, employment legislation, industrial frameworks, and modern awards within a unionised environment.
      • Established leadership skills to manage, coach and motivate teams, and ability to develop strong relationships with people leaders and the broader business.
      • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects/work streams and deliver timely/quality results.
      • Strong analytics, attention to detail and financial and commercial acumen.
