What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers on various employee relations issues, providing guidance on policies and best practices
- Support the development and alignment of the Employee Relations Center of Excellence and related Standard Operating Procedures
- Assist in the investigation process by gathering and documenting information, conducting interviews, and collecting evidence
- Maintain organized records for each case using the company's case management systems
- Provide coaching to managers on performance management, conflict resolution, and effective communication
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in employee relations, performance management, and investigations
- Working knowledge of state and U.S. employment laws, including Title VII and ADA
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with Workday Help or similar case management systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Professional HR Certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred
- Experience consulting with enterprise business partners on employee relations initiatives
- Professional Employee Relations Certification (e.g., AWIC, CERP, CLRP) nice to have
- Strong coaching and facilitation skills with a proven track record in developing talent
- Confident and proactive approach to employee care and empathy
