What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and strengthen opportunities for students to participate in internships and work-based learning experiences
- Collaborate with Career Services and Community College Workforce Alliance staff to integrate services
- Facilitate communication between employers and academic faculty regarding job and internship opportunities
- Co-lead the Work-Based Learning Tracking System Steering Committee to connect students and employers
- Support student-employer connections through job boards and on-campus events
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's degree required
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Strong initiative and focus on student success
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with virtual meeting platforms
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends, and travel within the service region
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field
- Experience developing relationships with for-profit and non-profit organizations
- Knowledge of work-based learning practices and current employment trends
- Familiarity with Salesforce/CRM platforms and other technology tools
