Job Description
- Req#: 1032841
- Negotiate the PAYE settlement agreement with HMRC and manage the production and review of the annual PSA return
- Provide guidance and support with employment tax issues and carry out specialist employment tax reviews as necessary
- Identify and manage employment tax risks and actively promote compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
- Participate in identifying, planning, and implementing appropriate employment tax initiatives, including commercially assessing the PSA
- Build and maintain positive relationships with HMRC
- Significant experience in employment taxes, compliance, and reporting
- The ability to extract, analyse, and interpret data, and apply the appropriate tax treatment
- An awareness of other areas of tax (e.g. corporation tax and VAT)
- The ability to assess the risks and commercial impact of changes to tax legislation

Employment Tax Manager
£57,000 to £66,000 plus excellent benefits (Work Level 5)
Manchester city centre (hybrid working)We’re looking for an Employment Tax Manager to join us in Manchester to be responsible for elements of our annual employment reporting and compliance obligations. Although you’ll focus mainly on employment tax, you’ll also have the chance to collaborate with the rest of the team across other areas, including corporation tax. In this role you’ll work in a hybrid way – splitting your time between home and the office.
