      Energy Manager

      We are seeking an experienced Energy Manager to join our team supporting automotive and agriculture clients in upgrading their facilities to prioritize environmental sustainability and improve efficiency. This is an exciting opportunity for those passionate about driving change in energy management!

      This is an opportunity to work on site fulltime in Waupaca, WI.

      Job Description

      As an Energy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in encouraging the use of renewable and sustainable energy resources. You will be responsible for benchmarking energy consumption against best practice guidelines and facilitating personnel training on energy efficiency. Your role includes monitoring and analyzing energy consumption at all company facilities, identifying and prioritizing areas for improvement, and verifying energy consumption improvements. You will work to correct any significant deviations in energy consumption and evaluate the operating performance of facility systems and equipment to determine improvement potential using formalized energy management protocols.

      Responsibilities

      • Encourage the use of renewable and sustainable energy resources.
      • Benchmark energy consumption against best practice guidelines.
      • Facilitate and expand personnel training on energy efficiency.
      • Monitor and analyze energy consumption at all company facilities.
      • Identify and prioritize areas for improvement.
      • Verify energy consumption improvements.
      • Work to correct significant deviations in energy consumption.
      • Evaluate the operating performance of facility systems and equipment.
      • Work with plant teams to identify progress and setbacks at a facility level.
      • Monitor progress as compared to industry benchmarks.
      • Vet and propose schedules for upgrade activities.
      • Identify milestones and facilitate the timely completion of corporate energy use reduction goals.
      • Develop and implement a carbon fuel use reduction program.
      • Build support at all levels of the organization for energy initiatives and goals.
      • Assist in budgeting for plant energy costs.
      • Promote synergy between cost reductions and energy improvements.

      Qualifications

      • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, energy engineering, or related field.
      • 5+ years of experience in energy management or assessment.
      • Knowledge of electrical, combustion, and HVAC equipment systems.
      • Certified Energy Manager (CEM)

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
