      Salary: The salary for this position traditionally starts at $79,118.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.

      Location: This position is in INDOT's Central Office, Indianapolis Data Governance.

      Role Overview: The Data Governance Manager will be actively engaged with INDOT Data Domain leaders across the agency in maturing the data governance program and on-boarding new data domains. The implementation of INDOT data governance policies and data governing technologies will be key priorities. This is a business facing role within INDOT IT focused on the identification of data quality issues and participating on the solution teams. Understanding of business process flows and how data integrates with business process is key along with understanding data governing concepts and approaches. Informatica experience is preferred and this position does not have any direct reports.

      A Day in the Life:

      • You will be an integral part of INDOT digital transformation initiatives partnering with INDOT business leaders and technical support teams driving a high level of data quality and access.
      • You will be supporting the INDOT Data Domain Trustee’s and Stewards in problem solving data quality issues. Collaborating with Visualization and Analytics IT teams in the design of data quality measure and metrics.
      • You will be leading the stand-up of additional data domains. This will involve domain design, dataset identification, initial domain health assessment and training the data domain Trustees and Stewards on their roles.
      • You will be leading the implementation of INDOTs Informatica solution.
      • You will be leading the implementation of the data governance policies across all domains in the agency.
