What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and manage functional and technical training and certification processes for manufacturing operations
- Partner with Learning & Development to define and deploy training frameworks
- Coordinate daily training delivery and certification tracking for hourly personnel
- Oversee operator certification assessments and facilitate internal promotion processes
- Design and implement Train-the-Trainer programs to build Subject Matter Experts at the hourly level
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Education, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, training development, or industrial engineering
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, certifications, and operator skill development
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple training initiatives
- Core competencies in instructional design, technical communication, and workforce development
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Ford Production System (FPS) standards and Lean Manufacturing practices
- Background in curriculum development or adult learning
- Strong continuous improvement mindset and problem-solving skills
