What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Read and analyze a substantial volume of English web novels in the assigned genre (Romance or Fantasy)
- Identify and evaluate works with high commercialization potential for platform collaboration
- Build and maintain long-term, trusting relationships with contracted authors
- Provide tailored feedback and creative guidance to help authors improve their works and increase reader engagement
- Conduct thorough research on the global English web novel market, tracking trends and reader preferences to inform content strategy
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or above
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in editorial, content evaluation, or author management within the digital content or online reading industry
- Genuine passion for web novels/light novels, with extensive reading experience in the assigned genre (Romance or Fantasy)
- Proficient understanding of the English web novel ecosystem and familiarity with mainstream global platforms like Royalroad, Wattpad, and GoodNovel
- Candidates with prior experience as an English web novel or light novel writer are highly preferred
