Enterprise Toolchain Enablement Manager

As a Barclays Enterprise Toolchain Enablement Manager, you will be accountable for the end-to-end technical ownership, delivery and support of a programme to enable the migration of 100s of development teams from the current Dev Ops platforms to the new GitLab platform that has been created in Barclays. This is an exciting role, leading engineering efforts and working internally across Barclays’ technical experts to solve complex problems and deliver solutions that implement the firm's business and technology strategy.

What will you be doing?
• Engineering strategic pipelines, migration patterns and processes, policies and solutions to be consumed across all technology partners within Barclays
• Executing delivery across a complex set of heterogenous technologies across public cloud, private cloud and internally hosted infrastructure
• Working with the core platform team to design enterprise-level solutions to integrate disparate systems to deliver best in class experiences for our engineering community
• Demonstrating broad-ranging expertise across technologies and the business to support your assigned domain
• Providing expert technical guidance for engineering initiatives across software engineering, infrastructure, security and data solutions
• Being knowledgeable of evolving trends and identify new opportunities to advance engineering capabilities
• Analysing a wide range of Jenkins and Team City pipelines and help develop migration strategies, tooling and documentation for teams to migrate to GitLab effectively
