      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Manage and lead tasks associated with projects, including developing proposals and cost estimates, executing project tasks, and managing project budgets
      - Assist in energy facility siting/routing, permitting, environmental field surveys, resource analysis, and public outreach
      - Prepare conditional use, land use, right-of-way, and other local jurisdictional permitting efforts
      - Represent clients before regulatory and land management agencies and present in public meetings to obtain project approvals
      - Research and interpret federal, state, and local regulations to assess project permitting feasibility and requirements

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - B.A/B.S. or M.A/M.S. in Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related degree or equivalent experience
      - 5 to 10+ years of related consulting experience, including managing technical teams and project management
      - Experience with regulatory agencies in New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, and/or Utah
      - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and excellent writing skills
      - Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office suite and valid driver's license with a clean driving record

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in managing projects related to solar, wind, energy storage, and transmission line projects
      - Familiarity with National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) planning
      - Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing
      - Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
