What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Act as a subject matter expert for Epic functionality and integrated third-party applications
- Develop proposals outlining feasibility, scalability, and costs for technical enhancements
- Code complex functions and test builds to ensure quality delivery to business partners
- Proactively identify and solve complex problems impacting business performance
- Lead functional teams and coordinate with stakeholders to establish project scope and requirements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of three years' relevant experience with Epic functionality, design, and configuration
- Epic certification or accreditation in one or more modules
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex integrated issues across applications
- Strong analytical skills for organizing technical requirement specifications
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in Epic builds and familiarity with healthcare IT systems
- Previous project management experience in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of best practices for system performance and maintenance
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders
