What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maintain close contact with current customers to understand their evolving business needs and make value-added recommendations
- Cold call to generate new business leads and collaborate with the corporate marketing department on industry leads
- Travel to assess client needs and recommend equipment replacements or new installations
- Become a subject matter expert on all product and service offerings and effectively communicate these to clients
- Coordinate with service managers and technicians to enhance service activities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5-7 years of proven sales experience in a similar industry with business-to-business sales
- Experience in the car wash industry or capital equipment sales is required
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
- Strong understanding of sales cycles, typically ranging from 30 to 90 days
- Excellent communication skills and a professional appearance
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business Management
- Familiarity with CRM software, with SalesForce.com strongly preferred
- Proven ability to manage business expenses and complete expense reports timely
