      We are seeking an Estimating Coordinator for our Rye Brook, New York office in Westchester County. The Estimating Coordinator is an in-office administrative role and is responsible for the coordination of construction bids. This role works closely with our Estimators to ensure that all required subcontractor information for projects is obtained in a timely and accurate way. The ideal candidate has exceptional ability to communicate and build relationships over the phone and is comfortable with cold-calling.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Administration and tracking of bids
      • Review plans with Estimators for trade selection and plan breakout; log subcontractors selected by Estimator for each trade
      • Generate bid invitations, contact subcontractors to secure bids, log responses, issue plans and specifications of project
      • Maintain and update bidding database
      • Provide weekly status reports
      • Perform additional duties as assigned

      Qualifications and Requirements

      • Excellent communication skills and phone demeanor, can network and build positive relationships over the phone
      • Bachelor's Degree, or relevant work experience in the Construction industry in a similar role
      • Must have attention to detail and possess strong organizational skills
      • Team-centric with a proven ability to work independently on tasks as part of a larger team goal
      • Strong proficiency and working knowledge of MS Office Suite, specifically Excel
      • Time management skills and able to work on several projects concurrently
      • Knowledge of Construction software such as Building Connected, BidMail, iSqFt, PlanHub preferred
