      Job Title: European Distressed Products Desk Analyst

      Corporate Title: Managing Director

      Location: London

      Deutsche Bank’s The European (EU) Distressed Products Trading desk is part of Global Financing & Credit Trading within Fixed Income & Currencies. The desk operates as a market maker in the EU Distressed Debt secondary market, in its role as a liquidity provider between market participants. The credit analysis sub-team, working alongside the Distressed & Par Desk’s trading, origination, sales, and legal sub-teams, is core to its success. The desk is looking to strengthen the team’s coverage of performing and stressed credits in particular.

      You will be supporting and updating corporate financial models with using interpretations of the latest company financials.

      Your key responsibilities

      • Accurate credit and scenario research, including financial modelling, commercial/ regulatory/ legal risks, deal write-ups and identification of new financing opportunities

      • Presenting credit views at analyst meetings

      • Support traders in the management of the desk’s risk, by providing timely and accurate credit information

      • Support salespersons in the strategy for approaching and the actual development of buying interest from clients

      Your skills and experience

      • Proven technical and quantitative academic background/ strong accounting skills and ability to interpret financial statements

      • Experience with/ aptitude for credit analysis

      • Personal drive, proactive demeanor and desire to work in a fast-paced environment

      • Excellent communication skills, with some experience of client interaction preferred

      • Fluency in an additional European language(s) would be desirable
