      The European Telecommunications Office (ETO) Services team develops and deploys new customer propositions across the EU region. As a result, we have a dynamic scope and a varied remit, being involved in proposition creation, content and services strategic direction and commercial partnerships.

      Samsung has a clear services strategy and as a top 5 global brand is looking to further develop our partnerships and services, capitalising on the unique and diverse capability of all Samsung hardware and bringing unique experiences to our consumers.

      This is an incredible opportunity to work across all of Samsung’s core mobile propositions through consumer orientated business development and partner management leadership shape the future of partnerships across Europe and globally. A significant breadth of partnerships with C-level contacts across fin-tech, events, sports, entertainment, technology and content.

      Role and Responsibilities

      • In your role, you will be crucial in supporting the Senior Manager to ensure effective collaboration with our partners, HQ, and teams across Europe, striving to deliver consumer-centric solutions that boost engagement and loyalty while securing a competitive advantage. Your task involves harnessing your expertise in forming lifestyle partnerships across various sectors, such as airlines, travel, and hospitality, to orchestrate digital partnerships.

      • You will be responsible for groundbreaking digital partnerships, demonstrating your deep understanding of diverse verticals and a robust network, particularly within Europe. Your role includes supplying to commercial frameworks, coordinating pipeline processes and pitching Samsung proposition to partners.

      • Your success will depend on your forward-thinking approach, focused on identifying and applying consumer needs to cultivate growth in customer value, engagement, retention, and profitability. You will need strategic insights into telecom and digital market trends, and the ability to craft European marketing initiatives and Samsung HQ's global planning.

      • Your efforts in implementing propositions with teams across Europe will be measured against critical metrics for each promotion and executional improvements, aiming to boost retention within the Samsung device business.

      What we need for this role

      To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

      • Consistent track record of onboarding lifestyle partnerships, with specific experience in verticals such as airlines, travel, and hospitality, focusing on establishing digital partnerships.

      • Prior experience with digital wallets will be considered a significant advantage.

      • Demonstrated ability to set up digital partnerships from scratch, showcasing an understanding of and previous work across various relevant verticals. Preferably, you will have a validated network, particularly with European players, and existing relationships in these sectors.

      • Experience in crafting or contributing to the development of commercial frameworks. The candidate should understand the pipelining process and have experience leading virtual teams across multiple subsidiaries and markets. The ability to work with business-to-business (B2B) resources across multiple countries, particularly at a European level, is critical.

      • Strong presentation skills, with the capability to create and present sales pitch decks around a proposition to potential partners. The ideal candidate should excel in bringing value for partner relationships from the ground up

      • Adopts working in an environment that is fast-paced, fluid and evolving.

      • Excellent relationship management skills, with an ability to establish and maintain long-term relationships with internal partners in both technical and commercial fields.

      • Detail-orientated with a dynamic approach to prioritising workload and projects.

      • Loves ambiguity and the challenge of simplifying problems to meet consumer needs.

      • Future-focused, always looking to identify and leverage consumer needs within a complicated matrix structure.

      • Help to Drive expansion and growth of Samsung Wallet Partnerships across Europe.

      • Sustain and optimise the current Strategy for Samsung Wallet Partnerships.

      • Develop a robust, aligned, partners partnership pipeline for Wallet across Europe.

      • Build strong relationships across HQ and local markets.

      • The team are measured on user growth, active users, and user experience - deepening consumer engagement with Samsung Products.
