Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced EVS Manager with mid-level experience to join our team. The EVS Manager will be responsible for overseeing the Environmental Services department and ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental services management and a proven track record of leading a team to achieve high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Environmental Services department, including scheduling, staffing, and budget management.
2. Develop and implement cleaning protocols and procedures to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation are maintained throughout the facility.
3. Train, mentor, and supervise EVS staff to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
4. Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations.
5. Collaborate with other department managers to address any environmental services-related issues and ensure a coordinated approach to facility maintenance and cleanliness.
6. Monitor and report on key performance indicators, such as infection control rates and cleanliness scores, and implement strategies to improve performance.
7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in environmental services management and implement new initiatives to enhance the department's effectiveness.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in environmental services management, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting.
2. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
3. Knowledge of OSHA regulations, infection control protocols, and other relevant industry standards.
4. Proven ability to develop and implement cleaning protocols and procedures to ensure high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
5. Proficiency in using computer software for scheduling, budget management, and reporting.
6. Certification in Environmental Services Management or related field is a plus.
