Lead Culinary Vision: Design innovative, seasonallydriven menus that delight residents and reflect local tastes

Oversee Operations: Manage daytoday kitchen workflows, recipe standardization, food prep, plating, and service

Control Budget & Inventory: Monitor food costs, negotiate vendor contracts, maintain par levels, and reduce waste
-
Coach & Develop Staff: Recruit, train, schedule, and mentor cooks, servers, and dietary aides to deliver Goldstandard service

Ensure Compliance & Quality: Uphold HACCP, safety, sanitation, and specialdietary requirements (allergies, textures, therapeutic diets)

Partner on Events: Collaborate with leadership on holiday celebrations, theme dinners, and family gatherings
Qualifications:

Proven Experience: 3+ years in a seniorliving, hospitality, or upscale hospitality kitchen—Executive or Sous Chef preferred
-
Culinary Credential: Culinary degree or equivalent professional training

Leadership & Communication: Inspiring coach with strong organizational skills and the ability to foster a positive team culture

Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of nutrition, specialdiet regulations, and modern plating techniques

Creativity & Passion: A flair for menu innovation and an unwavering commitment to excellence

Possess good character and a high degree of personal integrity.

Demonstrate genuine concern for the physical and emotional needs of older adults and their families.

Required to receive the annual Flu vaccine, excluding religious or medical exemptions.
