      The Executive Director of the Certified Home Health Agency (CHHA) is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and day-to-day operations of the agency. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and patient-centered care while meeting regulatory, financial, and organizational goals. The Executive Director will oversee clinical, administrative, and operational teams, and will be the key driver of innovation, performance improvement, and growth initiatives.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Provide strategic and operational leadership for the CHHA, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., Medicare/Medicaid, DOH).

      • Direct and manage all agency functions including nursing, therapy, social work, intake, quality, billing, and administrative support.

      • Maintain clinical and operational excellence through the development of policies, procedures, and performance improvement initiatives.

      • Oversee recruitment, training, and supervision of agency staff, ensuring a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

      • Collaborate with referral sources, hospitals, physicians, and community partners to build relationships and expand services.

      • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financials, compliance audits, and quality measures to internal and external stakeholders.

      • Develop and manage the agency’s budget, monitor financial performance, and ensure fiscal sustainability.

      • Promote patient satisfaction, staff engagement, and regulatory compliance across all agency activities.

      • Stay informed of trends, legislation, and best practices in home health care to guide strategic decision-making.

      Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Health Care Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree strongly preferred.

      • Current RN license in NY ; non-clinical candidates must have extensive CHHA leadership experience.

      • Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive leadership experience in home health or healthcare administration.

      • Strong understanding of CHHA regulatory requirements, Medicare Conditions of Participation, and state-specific guidelines.

      • Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and lead organizational growth and change.

      • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

      • Proficiency in electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Experience leading a CHHA or similar home health operation through surveys or accreditation processes.

      • Background in quality improvement and data-driven performance management.

      • Proven success in business development and referral relationship management.

      Salary: 100k-125k
