Lead, motivate, support and develop the Global Poultry team, including influencing the teams within.
Cross collaborate with the other species leads to drive the integration of the business and develop efficiencies to bring execution to the market.
Drive the overall global Poultry strategy and contribute to the execution of the overall Livestock biopharma & technology products worldwide.
Direct accountability for collaborating with other leading markets/countries to determine, influence, and validate execution and resource allocation.
Conduct competitive analysis to support decision making with regards to customer insights, market growth, market trends and market share analysis.
Understand the main drivers of customer behavior and trends and utilize this knowledge to enhance the marketing of the portfolio
Collaborate with R&D to drive focus and decisions for the development overall Livestock portfolio.
Collaborate with Animal Health (AH) Manufacturing on long and short-term planning including capacity and allocation for key brands.
Partner cross functionally with all business teams particularly regional and local markets, R&D, Business Development, Animal Health Manufacturing, Finance, Legal, Communications, IT, HR and other functional areas.
Partner with key markets to drive the top and bottom-line with a focus on the key brands.
Identify emerging business and customer trends and develop strategies to drive portfolio.
Develop and monitor the Global Poultry Marketing budget and provide reporting and analysis.
Participates as a member of the Global Livestock Leadership team.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Biological Sciences or related areas of study; MBA is a plus
Minimum of fifteen (15) years industry experience including animal health sales and/or marketing
Minimum of five (5) years in leadership position including people management experience
Must demonstrate strong knowledge of the Livestock business
Superior strategic thinking, enterprise-wide collaboration, and business acumen skills
Strong people and organizational leadership capabilities as well as global/cultural sensitivity
Demonstrated experience in successfully partnering cross functionally with all business teams particularly regional and local markets, R&D, Business Development, Animal Health Manufacturing and other functional areas.
Must demonstrate the ability to work in an international/multi-cultural environment, global leadership preferred
General Management or Business Unit Leadership experience preferred
Ability to manage budget, resources and talent effectively
Must have excellent presentation skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
The ability to shape, articulate and champion a compelling vision of the customer-focused business advantages of an integrated, solutions-based strategy combining biopharma and technology

Job Description
The Executive Director (ED), Global Poultry BU Lead is a key leadership role, responsible for developing and leading the strategic direction for all global marketing activities of the Global Poultry organization, across the biopharma and technology portfolio.
Reporting to the Associate Vice President, Global Livestock Lead, the incumbent is responsible to lead, motivate, support, and develop the Global Poultry business including influencing the teams within and helping to set the long-term strategy for the franchise, defining opportunities and gaps in the competitive landscape, and partnering with R&D, Business Development, the broader Global Commercial Leadership Team and the regions to define and prioritize competitive opportunities.
The ED Global Poultry BU Lead will monitor closely the P&L for all Poultry biopharma and technology portfolios worldwide and is involved in the planning and management of the Poultry business performance in close collaboration with the commercial leaders within the relevant markets (i.e., RVPs, GMs, BU Heads). They will integrate a combined biopharma and technology solutions organization with focus on getting closer to the customer. They will need to create the strategy for one face to the customer through our channels and digital landscape.
This role is also responsible to create and over time, evolve the organizational structure to develop joint value propositions of Biopharma and Technology which will allow us to sell Animal Health (AH) Solutions in the future. Furthermore, the goal is to create more uniform approaches across species where possible, to create efficiency and simplification on how we deploy initiatives across our organization.

Expected salary range:
