- Demonstrated creativity in approach to identifying the “so what” from multiple and disparate sources of information
- Strong business acumen
- Proficient with analytical and presentation tools
- Ability to grasp complex analytic principles and techniques
- Strong project management skills
- Familiarity with database environments and statistical concepts
- Deep interest and aptitude in data, metrics, analysis that incite action.
- Team player with a “can-do” attitude
- “Lean forward” bias to find opportunities and drive results
- Ability to work through ambiguous situations to drive work product delivery
- Interest in advancing knowledge and skill with statistical and database applications (SQL, SAS, etc )
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to progress multiple projects in parallel
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Effective communication skills – ability to “tell the story ”
- Ability to work effectively across functions, disciplines, and levels
- Experience in telecommunications or media preferred
- Experience in at least one of the following preferred: product marketing, product management, pricing, service delivery/ operations
- Experience with databases and statistical methods preferred
- Education: MBA or advanced degree required
- Field of Study: BA/BS degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, statistics, economics, or finance

Deliver guidance and recommendations to internal clients that will directly impact OCF and other business drivers – avoid insights with no action
Create quantitative analyses that convert data into actionable insights by combining your business acumen and experience with your analytic prowess
Focus your excitement about large, new data sets to provide insight-driven decision-making support for strategic initiatives around product, marketing, content, customer care, technical operations, and other core business units
Find the hidden gems that help understand and predict customer behavior
Utilize hypothesis-driven approach to layout the objective and define a continuous learning cycle to arrive at a conclusion
Lead the team that interfaces with both internal stakeholders (the business units) and our own advanced analytic teams (PhDs) to focus analytic effort on the right activities
Drive analytics beyond the interesting into impact through the creation of dashboards/reports, tools, and presentations that will change the way we do businessJob Description
