  JOB DESCRIPTION

  TMZ is seeking an Executive Director to lead the TMZ Celebrity Tour, overseeing content, strategy, operations, and growth. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a travel or tourism-focused business within a larger organization, demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills in dynamic environments.

  The role requires office work in Playa Vista and field work in Hollywood, CA.

  Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee daily operations of TMZ's Tour business.
  2. Achieve growth targets and expand the business.
  3. Manage the Profit & Loss statement to ensure financial health.
  4. Ensure content quality and consistency of the Tour.
  5. Supervise operations, sales, marketing, and staff.
  6. Manage the Tour staff and partner/vendor relationships.
  7. Develop and monitor budgets, revenue, and expenses.
  8. Analyze data to improve performance.
  9. Identify new growth opportunities.
  10. Perform additional duties as needed.

  Requirements:

  1. 5+ years of senior management experience in a consumer-facing business.
  2. Proven guest services, sales, and marketing experience.
  3. Understanding of complex operational processes.
  4. Experience in team building and personnel management.
  5. Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  6. Self-motivated with good prioritization skills.
  7. Experience managing a small business unit or department.
  8. Knowledge of accounting, legal compliance, and labor laws.
  9. Proficiency with relevant software tools.
  10. Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  11. Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
  12. Familiarity with TMZ and interest in pop culture.
