What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Build and maintain relationships with the long-term care (LTC) resident care team, including physicians and pharmacists
- Promote products by delivering education tailored to customer needs
- Address customer questions and concerns using advanced selling skills
- Develop and execute territory business/action plans based on market insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to address business needs and represent the employer at various events
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree required; life sciences preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of sales experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare; neuroscience preferred
- Advanced selling and negotiation skills
- Proven leadership and mentorship capabilities at a regional level
- Must reside within the territory or within 30 miles of its border and be able to travel independently
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 5 years of healthcare sales experience with at least 2 years in complex/account-based selling for Senior Specialist role
- 12 years of healthcare sales experience with at least 3 years in complex/account-based selling for Executive Specialist role
- Strong business acumen and self-motivation with a business ownership mentality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual engagement platforms
