- Ensure professional and efficient service is offered at all times, following the standards
- The ability to oversee all aspects of the pastry operation, including forecasting, scheduling, training, and motivating the team.
- The ability to coordinate the selection, training, development, and evaluation of employees through effective management and leadership to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met.
- The ability to work closely with the Executive Chef, Food & Beverage Manager, and Restaurant Manager.
- The ability to ensure that sanitation standards as set forth by Four Seasons and federal regulations are complying as well as the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
- The ability to maintain control systems that will assure quality and portion consistency, monitor food shipments to ensure they meet established purchasing specifications as well and foster an awareness of the importance of food preparation and quality.
- Assign responsibilities to subordinates and periodically evaluate their performance.
- College Degree education or equivalent experience in F&B field
- Minimum 5 years management experience in Kitchen’s bake/pastry operations.
- Prior experience in Food & Beverage department is highly desirable
- Requires knowledge of the ability to operate computer equipment
- Knowledge of English and Spanish (Preferred) language.
- Understand and familiar with quality standards and service standards of the hotel
- Reasonable cost analysis and cost management skills
- Highest level of integrity and transparency
- Apply an ethical approach to the outcome of situations
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with cross-functional teams and vendors’ delivery man
- Reasonable problem-solving, decision-making and conflict resolution skills
- Work in a safe, prudent and organized manner
