Job Summary The Technology, Product, Experience (TPX) organization works at the intersection of media and technology and our innovative teams are continually developing and delivering products and next-generation technologies that transform the customer experience. The Comcast Network and CONNECTivity (CONNECT) organization is a highly agile, fast-paced, dedicated group at the forefront of change focused on innovating, building, and operating the best in class, most reliable access network for our customers. Job Description Core Responsibilities Responsible for overseeing the development of the organization's strategic plan. Ensures the continued successful growth and profitability of the organization. Conducts and interprets organizational positioning, analysis and other studies. Identifies, investigates, evaluates and negotiates acquisitions/divestitures, licensing opportunities and strategic business alliances that are in line with the organization's long-range goals. Provides leadership and direction for diverse and complex functions. Lead Product Management team responsible for rolling out major upgrades to Comcast’s DAA Access Network utilizing radio frequency (RF) spectrum on DOCSIS traffic on both fiber and hybrid fiber-coax (HFC). Lead teams to develop requirements for new and existing tools used to perform in-home tests, capacity analysis, and deployment. Lead product roadmap development, feature definition, and requirements discovery across multiple software products that are used to manage construction, operation, and evolution of Comcast’s next-generation access network (one of the largest in the world). Ensure network reliability. Develop OKRs and KPIs for network rollouts of higher upstream spectrum. Collaborate with portfolio team to define organizational vision, direction, and goals. Roll out processes to trace from critical initiatives to features, epics, and user stories for development teams. Drive adoption of product mindset across organization. Staff central product management team and mentored junior product owners and business analysts. Leads all phases of the product lifecycle, from inception through product deployment and provides direction of introduction into the marketplace. Evaluates and ensures the viability of new product ideas in the context of the organization's strengths and capabilities, production capability, quality, costs and marketplace demands. Advises staff on clear documentation of new product ideas and reviews user need analysis reports. Develops goals, budget and strategic business plans. Recommends ways to expand sales and profitability. Identifies and evaluates new product ideas or strategic product extensions and ensures goals in revenue growth and market share are achieved.
