This role will report to the Tactical Security Senior Manger. This will be a full-time exempt position. Schedule will vary dependent on the needs of the individual being protected. Must have flexibility for changes in schedule.

This position’s main priority and focus is the safety and security of the CEO and the senior leadership team at Banner Health. The job requires a high level of personal integrity, honesty, confidentiality, good judgement, problem solving, communication, and professionalism. Maintains a high-level of confidentiality concerning the personal life of the protectee and their families while also using clear communication with the protectee regarding security matters and any changes in their schedule or activities.
CORE FUNCTION1. Evaluates potential risks to the protectee while traveling both domestic and international travel, public appearances and travel to/from residence.
2. Ensures safe transportation, including route planning and vehicle security measures.
3. Develops comprehensive security plans tailored to the protectee specific needs and potential threats.
4. Provides physical protection to the protectee during various activities, including travel, events, and daily routines.
5. Ensures safe transportation, including route planning and vehicle security measures.
6. Monitors the surroundings for suspicious activities or individuals and using technology to enhance security measures. Two (2) way radio communications will be utilized.
7. Responds to emergency situations to include medical situations, evacuations, or security breaches.
8. Collaborates with local law enforcement and security agencies, when necessary, especially during public events.
9. Identifies, assesses, and mitigates risks at each location.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, security management or related field.
Minimum of 2+ years of security experience or a related field.
Must have firearms permit for concealed carry and carry a firearm.
Must be able to travel extensively both domestically and internationally.
Must possess a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record and be eligible for coverage under the company auto insurance policy .
Additional certifications in First Aid/CPR, defensive driving, or firearms training.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Prefer prior law enforcement, military, corrections, healthcare or advance security experience.
Certification in Executive Protection from a recognized organization (ESI, ASIS) preferred.
Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
