      The Executive Talent Consultant Senior is responsible for full life cycle executive recruiting and for the outcomes of the executive recruitment process to include: diverse sourcing, screening and interviewing, travel for interviewing, recommending of staff and manage relocations for all business units within the enterprise.

      The Executive Talent Consultant Senior assesses market trends, in conjunction with assigned areas, and assists in the development of executive recruitment strategies and retention programs as deemed appropriate for attracting diverse and best applicants. This role assists in developing and implementing the recruitment media plan such as internet websites, etc.

      The Executive Talent Consultant Senior ensures equitable employment practices and maintains compliance with VCUHS policies and practices and state/federal regulations. This role partners with the HR Leadership to establish benchmark metrics for the executive recruitment programs and use data to support recruitment efforts and efficiencies.

      The Executive Talent Consultant Senior will also participate in Human Resources process improvement initiatives, change management, and special projects.

      Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire:
      PHR, SPHR, ASPR, NAHCR, or any other recruitment related certification preferred.

      Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment:
      PHR, SPHR, ASA Certified Search, or any related certification.

      Experience REQUIRED:
      A minimum of five (5) years of full life cycle recruiting experience.
      2 years of executive recruiting experience.
      Prior experience developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with high-level leaders to influence and consult on hiring decisions.
      Demonstrated industry and market knowledge of employment practices and legal consequences.
      Experience and ability to manage C-suite relationships.
      Able to manage competing demands while being extremely adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment.
      Experience leading initiatives and handling sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
      Experience managing multiple recruiting sources such as retained/contingent search firms, job boards, advertising, etc.

      Experience PREFERRED:
      Four (4) years of healthcare recruiting, particularly in an academic medical center setting
      Prior project management experience is preferred.

      Education/training REQUIRED:
      Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Business Management or a related field or combination of education and experience in lieu of a degree.

      Education/training PREFERRED:
      Master’s Degree in human resources, business or related field.

      Independent action(s) required:
      Works independently with little or no supervision or direction.
      Works with assigned Managers, Directors, Executives and collaborates with HR colleagues to develop strategies that meet the recruitment and retention needs of their assigned workload.
      Ensures legal compliance in all recruitment efforts.
      Works closely with the Manager, Executive Compensation to develop a competitive salary and incentive package to attract top executive talent to VCUHS.
      Partners in relationship with executive search firms and VCUHS leadership
      Coordinates the hiring process with the HR Solutions Center Onboarding Specialists to ensure an exceptional applicant experience.
