Executive Reward experience, including drafting Remuneration Committee papers and familiar with Committee management of cyclical activities.
Good understanding of UK corporate governance and ideally some exposure to shareholder engagement with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and resolve complex reward issues.
Ability to simplify complex technical issues into concise & coherent summaries.
Process improvement and project management incl. ability to think through interdependencies.
Broader HR and business acumen and Relationship management skills with experience of working as a ‘partner’ to the business, preferably at a senior level.
Salary : £70,000 - £90,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
Bonus opportunity - 12% of annual salary Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.

Executive Reward Manager – Salary: £70,000 - £90,000
Are you looking to take the next step in your Reward career? If so, an opportunity has arisen for an Executive Reward Manager.
This is a great role for someone who thrives in management of Executive casework (ExCo and Top 150 executives), working directly with ExCo members, People Directors, and potential candidates to deliver a high-quality experience focussed on all elements of the “hire to retire” lifecycle (includes salary, benefits, incentives, mobility, shares).
A bit about the job:
The Executive Reward Manager will be responsible for leading or contributing to ad hoc and cyclical Reward including drafting of the Directors Remuneration Report, Executive Benchmarking, Annual Reward Review for top executives, Directors Remuneration Policy review, Annual General Meeting preparation and M&A activity.
The role holder will support the Group Remuneration Committee processes (paper drafting, management of the Committee meetings/agenda and related processes) and monitor internal and external factors that impact Executive Reward and provide recommendations on how to attract and retain talent.
Additionally the role holder will be responsible for management of compliance and governance including the annual review and maintenance of all Group Reward policies and frameworks
The role will be “smart-working” – we encourage flexible working; however, you will need to be based a commutable distance from our London, Bristol, York, or Norwich offices and attend the office around 50% of the time.
